We will create a waitlist if the program has more interest than slots available. High School students who are not yet eligible to apply for the Healthcare Immersion Program should consider the Summer Ambassador program.

Upon acceptance to the program, pre-hire paperwork and employee health screening must be completed prior to start date.

Can students attend the program multiple times?

Due to limited availability, students may only attend one session per summer. Students who participated in the winter session will be able to apply for a future summer session. In addition, participants may have the opportunity to shadow healthcare professionals upon completion of the program.

The Healthcare Immersion Program has no fee and is free of charge. The Monday breakfast and Friday lunch will be provided via a meal ticket for the hospital cafeteria.
