Each intern will receive a yearly salary of $30,000. Additionally, interns will receive full benefits including: health insurance, personal and sick leave. Parking, a gym membership, and weekday lunches are provided. There is an apartment provided free of charge.
Our Lady of the Lake has six holidays: Christmas, New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day. In addition, interns have 3 weeks of vacation, 14 days of sick leave, and up to five days of Educational/Professional Leave (e.g. interviews or dissertation defense). Interns can also apply for support for Educational/Professional Travel, for example, to present at professional meetings.
OLOL makes available to interns the health, dental, life and disability insurance plans in effect for Our Lady of the Lake employees. Trainees will contribute to the costs of health insurance. Coverage of family members and legally married partners is available. Professional Liability Insurance costs are covered by Our Lady of the Lake. Immunizations will be provided by the Our Lady of the Lake Employee Health Department.
