We are accredited by the American Cancer Society and the Commission on Cancer as a comprehensive community cancer care program offering comprehensive cancer care by multidisciplinary teams of specialists and surgeons. The Cancer Institute team includes the more than 600 providers from Our Lady of the Lake Physician Group, providing a full continuum of medical services from primary care to advanced specialists and highly skilled surgeons.

One of the most notable practices in the group is Our Lady of the Lake Medical Oncology, a board and specialty certified group, and one of the largest and most respected oncology physician groups in the region. Additionally, the Institute offers world-class palliative medicine and surgical care including head and neck malignancies, colorectal and other gastrointestinal tumors, lung cancer and thoracic surgical care, neurological tumors and orthopedic oncology, urology, breast and GYN services.

What Special Nutritional Needs May Exist During Treatment?

Many patients may have difficulty with nutrition during treatment. We have designated Registered Dietitians who will meet with patients and discuss their nutritional needs.
