Geriatric Behavioral Center
The Geriatric Behavioral Center is a highly specialized inpatient program designed to address the psychological and physical needs of older adults. Acute and stressful changes can prohibit them and their family from coping in a healthy manner. Our comprehensive program provides a caring environment to assist in making significant steps toward recovery.
Admission
The Geriatric Behavioral Center admits patients 55 years or older who are suffering from one or more of the following:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Agitation
- Disturbances in sleep and/or appetite
- Confusion and/or disorientation
- Psychosis (paranoia, delusions, hallucinations)
