Pre-Admission and Registration Center

PARC team members are with you through every step of your surgical experience, including preparing patients and families for surgery through discharge. The PARC team educates patients and families on what to expect, arranging pre-surgical testing and counseling with an anesthetist if indicated. PARC helps to coordinate your pre-surgery needs, simplify the surgery experience and assist with the following:

  • Completion of required tests
  • A review of health history and completion of the anesthesia pre-operative record will be done for patients. Nursing will schedule a visit with an anesthesia representative if needed.
  • Individualized teaching
  • Discussion of discharge needs
  • An opportunity to discuss questions or concerns patients may have about their surgery or procedure

Before your surgery, please read this document.
